My favorite breakfast in France is a cup of coffee and a flakey buttery croissant either plain or filled with ham and cheese. Techniques covered in this workshop are how to laminate dough, make classic croissants, ham & cheese croissants and the sweet kouign amann. If you haven't had a kouign amaan, it is a caramelized flakey pastry with a hint of salt that makes it tastes like salted caramel.
