Banh bao was the very first dish I made with my grandmother when I was little. She would prep the dough and ingredients then I would help her shape them into little buns. She would brag to the family that I made them all by myself and I felt so proud even though we both knew who did what. I think this was the spark that I had that made me want to be a chef.

In this class you will learn how to make Char Siu or in Vietnames, Xa Xiu pork, steam bun dough and how to perfectly steam these delicious buns.
